Photography, Expanded Lab: Digital Narratives

Call for Participants

UPCOMING APPLICATION DEADLINE:

As part of the Photography, Expanded initiative, Magnum Foundation and The Brown Institute for Media Innovation, are pleased to announce the next Photography, Expanded Lab for documentary mediamakers, journalists, designers, and engineers seeking to expand their storytelling beyond the still image. Selected participants will gain critical insights into emerging digital strategies in order to engage audiences across platforms and mobilize communities around social justice issues. The lab will be comprised of a public panel and a two-day workshop for selected participants that is designed to catalyze a network of media producers to collaborate and push their projects forward.

Those with a strong desire to incorporate interactive and participatory techniques into their work are invited to apply. Participants for the Lab will be chosen through a competitive process to identify people who will be able to work collaboratively to produce new work.

Lab admission is free. Travel and accommodation WILL NOT be provided.
